Altus® Highland Lodges came to BoldCrest looking for branding that truly reflected where it lives. Our goal was to build an identity and design system that feels connected to the highlands without falling into outdoor clichés.

Challenge
Hospitality branding can easily become predictable. Mountains, trees, rustic textures, etc. Been there, done that.
Altus needed a clear identity that felt modern and structured, not simply decorative. The design had to reflect altitude and architecture, while still working across signage, wayfinding, and guest materials.
At the end of the day, the branding had to feel calm, confident, and practical at the same time.
Solution
To create something unique to Altus, we built the branding around a sculpted “A” that references both mountain peaks and the form of the lodges. It’s a subtle nod to the brand, but it’s intentional.
The identity is supported by a muted, natural palette that reinforces the setting without overpowering it. Clean typography keeps the design contemporary and easy to apply.
The result is a branding and identity system that works across every touchpoint. Simple, structured, and built to last.
