Overview

Tepelene® was reimagined through the first custom-crafted water bottle fully designed in Albania. What began as a redesign became a full brand transformation, built to express purity, strength, heritage, and a new standard for the market.

Challenge

The challenge was to preserve the brand’s history while giving it a more contemporary, dignified, and recognizable presence. The bottle needed to feel ergonomic, distinctive, and efficient, while the identity had to honor Tepelene’s heritage without feeling outdated.

Solution

We designed the bottle from scratch, shaping a slim cylindrical form with raised vertical lines inspired by water droplets, the Ali Pasha hat, and the southern Albanian fustanella. The label and identity were refined with historic details, including Ali Pasha’s engraved emblem and typography inspired by Byron’s handwriting.

The system was then extended across Tepelene Sport and Tepelene Kids, adapting the brand language to each product line while preserving a cohesive identity. The result is a refreshed brand that feels rooted in heritage, built for today, and ready to resonate across generations.
