Challenge
The challenge lay in crafting a brand identity that would encapsulate the essence of Alisa Dudaj's experimental approach while paying homage to her roots in Albanian folklore. The design needed to be both evocative of the brand's inspirations and versatile enough to let the fashion pieces take center stage.
Solution
We built the identity around Albanian history and mythology, drawing inspiration from the Daughter of the Sun and the Moon and an engraving documented in Northern Albania by Edith Durham. This figure became the brand’s emblem, connecting handcrafted tradition with Alisa Dudaj’s experimental fashion approach. The wider identity was kept deliberately minimal, using an off-white and off-black palette with a strong sans serif typeface, allowing the fashion pieces to remain the focal point while reinforcing the brand’s roots in heritage and contemporary design.
